Flash birds animation test for first scene, using fake boids code. Currently the birds follow the mouse, but I’ll change it so they fly to a random point, then switch to another point once the birds reach the first point.
The progress and development of my MFA thesis: an interactive Flash augmented reality work inspired by the fairy tale The Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen.This interactive augmented-reality piece will explore the story of The Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen from a personal perspective. Interaction in the form of page flips will trigger the next scene. Text will visually describe the narrative. The piece will be created in Flash, and its final form will be an installation. The interactive installation will focus on creating an experience in which it appears as if a book has come to life.
